如果research沒錯，加拿大應只有滿地可的Birks Maison有附設餐廳，同行的友人說起這店有afternoon tea，我們立即決定訂位試試。
準時三點抵撻，帶點歐陸風情的裝修，其實有點舊，卻和對出的珠寶零售區一樣，滲著一點點懷舊的感覺。
那是周日的下午，全場爆滿，大家都再吃下午茶，專一的當然是繼續喝jasmine tea，他們用的是Mariage Feres的茶葉。
坦白說，味道只是一般，部份甜品更是甜得有點過份，但以每位$26.5來說，這是抵吃的，個人較欣賞那三件鹹點。
整體來說，整個tea程是舒適的，最後送贈帶走的小甜點亦很有心思，這$26.5是俾得順氣的，因知道我是吃品牌環境新體驗，多於食物本身，不過會否再去這店吃tea，這……就應該肯定不會了……

It looks better than it tastes actually, the small bites r not bad, but dessert is way too sweet for me, scone is so so, but it feels special to tea at a jewelry shop^^.
& thanks for your reply! I see, that’s too bad. Places that turn out food that’s all looks but nothing to back them up are such a letdown.
I took that as a nice tea experience, but when i visit montreal next time, will ho try something new, not a place that i’ll miss and hv to try again… U r living in toronto?
Er no in Japan, Nagoya at the moment to be precise.
Oh, must hv a lot of nice pastries… I always luv japan pastries as they r less sweet and fits better to asian’s flavours…
I think it depends TBH. Compared to top level pâtissiers in France especially, but also other countries nowadays, Japanese pâtissiers don’t make cakes that are less sweet. Feel free to check out my blog, it’s a sweet stuff review blog!
